I have the honour to acknowledge receipt of Your Lordship's despatch No.87 dated 18th March,
1931, on the subject of the pension to be awarded to
Colonel R. F. Drury, C.B.E., Chief Superintendent of the Mapping Branch, His Majesty's Land Registry,
formerly an Executive Engineer of the Public Works
Department in this Colony.

I enclose a statement of the service of Colonel Drury in Hong Kong together with his aggregate pensionable emoluments and a computation of his pension
amounting to £531. 8s. 8d. shewing the allocation as
between Imperial and Hong Kong funds based on his
aggregate pensionable emoluments in both services.
It will be seen that on this basis the
division is £117. 17s. 9d. payable by Hong Kong and

£413. 10s. 11d. payable by the Imperial Government. It is assumed that this is the proper and equitable manner
in which the incidence should be met.
